Our planned 2018 walk on Lyth Hill had unfortunately to be cancelled because of the prevailing very hot weather, so this year we hope the event can go ahead!
Lyth Hill has some of the best panoramic views of the South Shropshire hills, stretching from the Wrekin in the east to Wenlock Edge in the south-east and the Stiperstones in the south-west. It incorporates areas of woodland, scrub and open grassland, ideal for off-lead exercise. The walk should take a couple of hours and is not overly arduous, being for the most part flat, but it can be a little muddy in parts so stout shoes are advisable. Sunday Lunch will be available after the walk at a pub in nearby Bayston Hill.
