Annual Fun Day - 21st May A glorious day and a super new venue made it perfect for our Annual Fun Day at Peopleton near Pershore. Although numbers attending were down on past Fun Day events, the day was enjoyed by all who came. The venue proved to be perfect for hosting a party, so the branch's November Party will take place there. |

Churnet Valley Ramble - 2nd July Even on a beautiful July morning our Churnet Vally ramble suffered from the recent trend in low turnouts but those who came had a superb walk along the Caldon Canal and took a very leisurely lunch at the Black lion Inn at Consall, where we were joined by veteran Beardie Nellie (now nearly 14) and Humphrey (a mere 2 years old). All agreed that we should repeat the walk again next year (will that make eight times?) |
